Lance made a dramatic entre in Rebound by dying a horrible death as a sacrifice in a ritual set up by Rex and a group of soul vampires to set free the great sin Wrath.
At the end of Volume 1 he was seen waking up in his personal heaven (now an angel ) with a virtue that looked as if it had been skinned. Here he was picked up by a guardian angel who seemed very confused by the eerie looking virtue.
